The governing body supports the CEO, the Headteacher and the staff of Foxborough Primary School in delivering a world-class education to the students.

The governors come from a variety of backgrounds and add to the diversity of the school by supporting it in a number of ways. More information about each member can be found below.

Governors have a term of office of 4 years, but maybe re-appointed; the dates indicated below show commencement of the latest term of office.

Denby Richards
Governor

Date of Appointment: June 2013, renewed July 2017

Attendance at meetings 2024 - 2025: 2 of 4 = 50%

Denby Richards is a retired primary school headteacher who retains an interest in and a passion for the education of our children and young people. He sees his governing role as that of a supportive yet critical friend of the Foxborough community.

Jo Quinton
Vice Chair of Governors

Governor responsible for: Safeguarding

Jo Quinton is an assistant head teacher at Ryvers School and, since qualifying as a teacher in 1988, has taught in all year groups from Nursery to Year 6. She has lived and taught in Langley for thirty years. Jo is married with two grown up children. Jo also enjoys swimming and ballroom dancing.

Gill Knight
Chair of Governors

Governor responsible for: SEND(Acting)

Gill Knight is an experienced primary school teacher and former Deputy Head who now works as a freelance primary maths consultant, supporting schools across the south east to develop their maths teaching.  She also enjoys cycling, swimming, Pilates and drinking coffee with friends!

Aqeela Rahman
Parent Govenor

Governor responsible for: Curriculum

Aqeela Rahman is currently the Director of Cubent Ltd UK based research & development company that provides training & courses. Previously, she worked as Business Development & Marketing Executive at OptiRisk Systems from Feb 2011 to Sept 2019. She has a wide range of experience in business management, administration and marketing. In the past, she has worked as an Administrator at FIFA, Credit Officer at MCB bank, and also a Physics Lecturer in Govt. College. She is married with four young children.

Beata Tatarczyk
Staff Governor

Beata Tatarczyk is an experienced and passionate music educator with a career rooted in inspiring young minds through the power of music. As the school's music lead and music teacher at Foxborough Primary School, she ensures every child has the opportunity to experience and engage with music in meaningful ways. She also works as a Nursery teacher where she integrates her deep love for music into early years education.She is dedicated to cultivating a love for music in her school community, from organizing captivating performances to implementing innovative music provision strategies that highlight inclusivity and excellence. Her goal is to inspire educators to integrate music into their teaching, unlocking the benefits of music for learning and personal growth. 

Omar Saddique
Governor

Date of Appointment: January 2026

Attendance at Meetings: 

Omar Saddique is a committed Assistant Headteacher at a local primary school, with leadership responsibilities in curriculum development and professional development. With 17 years of experience across various educational sectors.  He brings a broad understanding of teaching and learning to his role. In addition to his work in schools, Omar has contributed to the establishment and management of extracurricular orgainsations within the community, reflecting his commitment to supporting education beyond the classroom.

Julide Cesur
Governor

Date of appointment: January 2026

Attendance at Meetings: 

Julide brings over a decade of senior leadership experience across education and international business, including executive oversight of complex global projects. She holds a BA in Business, a PGDiploma in Politics and International Relations, and a PGCE with QTS in Business Studies from UCL, and is currently completing the NPQH (UCL). She is passionate about supporting young people’s academic progression, with a strong track record of guiding students into Oxbridge and other top-ranked universities across Medicine, Law, Business, Politics and STEM pathways, achieving a 90% first-choice success rate. Julide is committed to inclusion and high standards for all learners, with a particular focus on SEND and neurodiversity. Her work reflects a strong interest in equitable access to opportunity and student well-being. Her academic research focuses on adolescent-safe AI legislation and policymaking, bringing a forward-thinking perspective to education governance. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), an Associate Member of the Political Studies Association, and an ICF-qualified coach.
